BRAND MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Job Functions:
Responsible for overall management of a group of account teams. Develops, directs and implements marketing programs for clients in a variety of applications, including brand storming, brand development, integrating sales and operations with marketing. Builds client relationships and participates in new business presentations.
Skills and Duties:
- Supervises client programs and account team activities.
- Oversees account team in development of strategic marketing plans.
- Oversees account teams in development and implementation of brand strategies.
- Provides strategic counsel on client marketing plans and activities.
- Performs brand storming sessions with new and prospective clients.
- Serves as primary or secondary client contact on large accounts, as designated.
- Develops business and marketing strategies for clients.
- Prepares and supervises client budgets, with emphasis on profitability.
- Participates in evaluation of staff performance; makes hiring and salary recommendations.
- Exhibits exemplary business leadership, professionalism and presentation skills.
- Leads internal Brand Iron teams as assigned.
- Builds business with existing accounts and participates in new business presentations - responsible for new business development.
- Provides coaching and feedback to account team members and serves as official coach for staff members as assigned.
